Reactive Rovers - 2

$175.00

You’ve built the foundation—now it’s time to put those skills into practice.

Reactive Rovers Level Two is designed for dogs and handlers who have completed Reactive Rovers Level One and are ready to work on staying calmer, more focused, and more connected around other dogs.

In Level Two, we move beyond learning the individual exercises and begin using them in more realistic, controlled situations. Dogs practice working around one another with carefully managed distance, movement, changing sightlines, and other challenges that more closely resemble what you may encounter on a walk.

We’ll continue using the skills introduced in Level One—including attention and focus, Look At That (LAT), disengaging from triggers, defensive walking, creating distance, emergency U-turns, and recovery after a reaction—while gradually increasing the difficulty as each dog is ready.

You and your dog will practice skills such as moving past other dogs, seeing dogs appear unexpectedly, working while another dog is moving, settling while triggers are present, and learning to check back in with you rather than immediately reacting.

The goal is not to get your dog as close as possible to another dog. Every dog has a different threshold, and success may look different from one dog to the next. We celebrate the small wins—a quicker recovery, a voluntary check-in, calmly watching another dog, or simply needing a little less distance than before.

Level Two helps bridge the gap between learning the skills in Level One and eventually being able to use them out in the real world.

Reactive Rovers Level Two is where “I know what to do” starts becoming “I can do it when it matters.”

Prerequisite: Reactive Rovers Level One or instructor approval.

Class Details:
4-week series • $175
Meets once a week for 45–50 minutes
Up to two people may attend with each dog.

Next Class Starts
Level Two always starts the week after Level One ends.
