Online Dog Training Personalized Video Coaching
Personalized training help - wherever you and your dog live.
Not every training problem requires an in-person lesson. Sometimes what I really need is a chance to see what your dog is doing, see how you're responding, and help you make a few adjustments.
With Online Dog Training, you send me a video of you working with your dog or showing me the behavior you're having trouble with. I'll personally review your video and email you with individualized feedback, training suggestions, and exercises to work on.
Then you practice at home and, depending on the option you choose, send me another video so we can see what's improving and what we need to change.
This isn't a prerecorded course or a one-size-fits-all training plan. I'm looking at your dog, your handling, and your particular situation.
How It Works
1. Tell me what's going on.
You'll give me some background about your dog, what you're struggling with, and what you'd like to accomplish.
2. Send me your video.
I'll give you instructions on what I'd like to see. In most cases, a few short clips are much more useful than one long video.
3. I review your training.
I'll watch your video and evaluate what your dog is doing, what may be contributing to the problem, and what I would change.
4. You receive personalized instruction.
I'll email you with feedback, exercises, and specific things I'd like you to work on.
5. Practice and send another video.
If you've chosen a multi-review package, you'll practice what we've discussed and send me an updated video. From there, we can adjust the training based on your dog's progress.
What Can We Work On?
Online coaching can be a great option for:
Leash walking
Jumping
Puppy manners
Attention and engagement
Sit, down, stay and recall
Settling and learning to relax
Crate training
Door manners
Impulse control
Building confidence
Improving communication between you and your dog
Troubleshooting exercises you're already working on
Building a base for reactive/anxious dogs
Not sure if your particular problem can be addressed online? Ask me! I'll let you know if I think online coaching is appropriate or if your dog would be better served by an in-person lesson.
Online Training Options
Single Video Review - $75
Have one particular problem or exercise you'd like help with?
Send me your video and I'll personally evaluate it and email you with individualized feedback, training recommendations, and exercises to work on.
Includes one video submission and one personalized training evaluation.
Three-Review Coaching Package - $195
This is my favorite option because dog training is a process.
You'll submit your first video, receive my feedback and training plan, practice with your dog, and then send me another video so I can see what's changed. We'll repeat the process again, making adjustments as your dog progresses.
Includes three video submissions, three personalized evaluations, and ongoing training recommendations based on your dog's progress.
When Is In-Person Training Better?
There are some situations where I may recommend an in-person private lesson instead. Significant aggression, bite history, serious resource guarding, or behaviors where I need to see your dog in their environment may not be appropriate for online coaching.
If I don't think online training is the right option for your dog, I'll tell you. My goal isn't simply to sell you a lesson - it's to help you choose the type of training that will actually be useful.
Professional Training on Your Schedule
One of the things I love about online coaching is that you can work on training when it fits into your schedule. You don't have to coordinate appointment times or set aside an hour for a lesson. Record a few short videos while you're working with your dog, send them to me, and I'll review them and give you personalized feedback and instruction.
It's also incredibly helpful for me to see what's actually happening at home, in the environment where you and your dog spend your everyday life.
You don't need a perfectly behaved dog, a professional video, or perfect training technique. In fact, I need to see what's really happening. That's how I can help.
Send me your video, and let's figure out what your dog is telling you - and what we can do next.
